Jim Ahrens participating in the mentoring program for students at SIAM CSE15. The program was part of an effort to broaden engagement with a more diverse community. In addition to small group and one-on-one mentoring sessions activities included the Workshop Celebrating Diversity, Professional Development Evening, Association of Women in Mathematics activities, Student Days, Student Careers Panel, and Job Fair.
